Sister Savanna Brooks in The Golden State

Hello my friends!  Today we are going to be beach.  Holla!!!  I'm convinced I have the best mission in the world.  Pictures to come.  (This pic was taken right after the baptism. So happy. 😁😁💕) This week was a weird one for sure...  But the most important thing is that ANGELICA GOT BAPTIZED!!!!! 😄😄😄😄😄   It was super awesome.  As she was walking up the stairs out of the font, she smiled so big at Sister Thomas and I and said, "I feel so different!" We wrapped her in her towel and asked, "In what way?" Hello all!   Things here are going fine and dandy. We are working hard and seeing the Lord's hand in our loves as we do so. We are really excited for the good things happening in this area!  Angelica is getting baptized NEXT SUNDAY! Please pray that all will go well leading up to and during the service! She is so ready and wants it so bad. She makes me happy. And it makes me happy to see her want to change. “And according to his faith there was a mighty change wrought in his heart… And now behold, I ask of you… have ye spiritually been born of God? Have ye received his image in your countenances? Have ye experienced this mighty change in your hearts?”  (Alma 5:12, 14) My comp and I are both doing well! We laugh all day every day. She is super fun and a great missionary and she will do so much good throughout her time as a missionary and life afterwards. 💕 Not much to report on this week!...

Hello again!  I can't believe it's already time to write! This week flew!   Honestly, not a whole lot happened. Angelica didn't come to church, so we had to push her baptism date back. But she still really wants to be baptized and promised that she would come the next two weeks so she can be. I am so grateful to be working with the members through it all because they help so much!  ( Mission friends. We all went to USU!) Please, wherever you are, HELP THE MISSIONARIES IN YOUR WARD OR STAKE! Feed them dinner and offer your home as a place for them to teach lessons. Refer them to your friends! You will never regret being the referring source for someone's eternal happiness. Help them out and I promise that they will help you in return!
