Wow, what a week! Having some greenie fire in our companionship has been such a blessing; we have been able to work like crazy!! 1. We have such a fun district. Last week we went to breakfast together, and this week we are having a volleyball tournament/ missionary approved movie party. I love the friends I have made here in the field!  2 . I was privileged to receive another $10 gift card on Monday. President just keeps them in his office and initiates some kind of competition pretty much every P-Day. Definitely not mad about it. 3rd week in a row writing a group email/blog post! Is anyone else impressed?? Haha miracles happen. πŸ˜‰ This week was a lot of fun with a lot of firsts! Sister Cordero left on Tuesday morning for her new area. She's at the beach.. so she wasn't too sad to go. Haha but I was sad to see her leave. We became good friends during our 12 weeks together. I know she will kill it in her new area. 😊 I then spent all day Tuesday and Wednesday in a trio with the 2 other sisters I live with. They're so dang funny; I laughed for 2 days straight. Thursday morning came around and I got my new baby! Her name is Hermana LondoΓ±o and she is absolutely amazing. She is already fluent in Spanish, an amazing teacher, and pretty much is training me πŸ˜‰ Her dad is from Columbian and she lived there for a while. She came from Cedar Hills and went to Lone Peak High. We have a lot of...

Hola todos!  OHH WOWWWWW! Yep, you know what that means! This was the absolute craziest week ever. BUT. It was also one of my favorites.   1. Areseli got baptized yesterday!! It was such an incredible experience. Buckle up for this crazy story...  So, Areseli has been an investigator of the elders for a while. She and her boyfriend have never been able to be baptized because they lived together (separating wasn't an option because neither one of them made enough money to live solo, but they couldn't get married because her boyfriend didn't want to). So, for months, they have been coming to church and meeting with the elders, without progressing the way Areseli wanted to. At district meeting on Thursday, Elder Taylor received a message from her saying that she had left her boyfriend and she was sitting at a park. Because he and his companion had an appointment, (our appointment had cancelled 20 min...
