Sister Savanna Brooks in The Golden State

Hello all!   Things here are going fine and dandy. We are working hard and seeing the Lord's hand in our loves as we do so. We are really excited for the good things happening in this area!  Angelica is getting baptized NEXT SUNDAY! Please pray that all will go well leading up to and during the service! She is so ready and wants it so bad. She makes me happy. And it makes me happy to see her want to change. “And according to his faith there was a mighty change wrought in his heart… And now behold, I ask of you… have ye spiritually been born of God? Have ye received his image in your countenances? Have ye experienced this mighty change in your hearts?”  (Alma 5:12, 14) My comp and I are both doing well! We laugh all day every day. She is super fun and a great missionary and she will do so much good throughout her time as a missionary and life afterwards. 💕 Not much to report on this week!...

Hello again!  I can't believe it's already time to write! This week flew!   Honestly, not a whole lot happened. Angelica didn't come to church, so we had to push her baptism date back. But she still really wants to be baptized and promised that she would come the next two weeks so she can be. I am so grateful to be working with the members through it all because they help so much!  ( Mission friends. We all went to USU!) Please, wherever you are, HELP THE MISSIONARIES IN YOUR WARD OR STAKE! Feed them dinner and offer your home as a place for them to teach lessons. Refer them to your friends! You will never regret being the referring source for someone's eternal happiness. Help them out and I promise that they will help you in return! Hiiii friends and fam and maybe even strangers!  This week was such a treat.  I love my companion so much. ❤ We just GET each other and we are going to be friends for life!  I think Heavenly Father knew I needed more friends, so he sent me on a mission 😂 .  He's always looking out for me 🤗😊 . We serve with the coolest missionaries! There are 6 missionaries that serve just in our Spanish ward (Sister Thomas & I and 4 elders) and it is a party every single day! I laugh so much. They're such great missionaries and people! The work here is super awesome. Somehow, we keep running into the investigators of our elders and unintentionally stealing them 😂.   Haha, so that has caused some tension but don't worry, all is well. 👍😀 Cool story: we have decided to focus all of our finding efforts in referrals from members.
