July 16, 2018 ~ Happy Anniversary! (Week 53)
Wow, one year has come and gone! Crazy to think I have been a missionary for so long. What an adventurous and amazing year it has been!!
This week was pretty good! The work is moving right along and so is the time! Im convinced that we have the best ward in the mission. We are always receiving food, referrals, and love. I don't know how I ever survived with so little Latino culture in my life prior to my mission. I love it! I love their food I love their jokes I love their language I love their humility and I love their love! I forever want to be with and learn from the hardworking and Humble Latinos around me. Ah God knew I needed them in my life. ❤❤
Because I have been here for 12 months, here are 12 things that I have learned on the mission:
2. The spirit and a smile are spoken in a universal language.
4. Pray pray pray pray pray.
5. You can be dirt poor and still have a heart of gold.
6. Trust in the Master artist who is painting your masterpiece of life.
It will turn out beautiful, I promise.
7. The Book of Mormon holds whatever you need, be it: peace, happiness, answers, advice, a good reminder of the right thing to do, etc.
Best book everrrrrr.
8. Jesus Christ is EVERYTHING.
Everything we believe in goes back to Him and His Atonement.
Love him and accept the love He has for you.
10. The spirit is the teacher.
Listen to Him, Let Him walk with you, and recognize His role in all that you do.
Listen to Him, Let Him walk with you, and recognize His role in all that you do.
11. Love can soften even the hardest hearts.
12. You will never regret sharing your testimony with someone; you will never regret a kind word said.
